Who doesn’t love fries? I certainly do, but I don’t want to spend a lot of time making them. That’s why this recipe includes a huge time-saving tip.

Ingredients

Idaho or yellow potatoes

Olive oil

Sea salt

Instructions

Rinse and peel the potatoes — or leave the skin on. It's quicker and adds nutrients.

Slice them into lengthwise strips. It's fast and easy using a fry cutter — more details after the recipe.

Place them on a baking sheet and toss them with olive oil to lightly coat them.

Bake the potatoes at 400° F until golden brown — about 30 minutes.  Toss them two or three times during baking to prevent them from sticking to the pan.

Once cooked to your liking, sprinkle the fries with sea salt and serve.

Notes:

A fry cutter is a great investment for about $20 in this french fry cutter.  It takes about 3 minutes to slice a full sheet tray of fries.

However you slice them, homemade fries are delicious.
