Return to the Table

It's About How You Eat.

We all want to feel good in our bodies and in our lives, and food is the foundation.

But it's not just about what you eat. How you eat matters too.

Where and when. How you serve, share, and savor. Even how you sit, slow down, and chew.

I’ll show you how just a few small shifts and simple habits can make a big difference in your health, happiness, and relationship with food.

The Proof in France and Italy

Maybe you've heard of the French Paradox and wondered, How can the French routinely eat cheese, bread, and dessert — yet stay healthy and trim?

Or heard that French kids eat everything and wished your kids ate everything from eggplant to endives.

Perhaps you've been intrigued by places like Sardinia and Acciaroli, Italy — regions where people live the longest and healthiest lives — and thought, I want that too!

How do we find an intelligent yet joyful way of eating — one rooted in timeless wisdom rather than extremes?

Return to the basics.
To the kitchen.
To the table.
Yes! I'm ready

Life pulls us in a million directions, but it’s easy to come back to what really matters.

That's why I'm here

To help you Return to the Table

Where food and life come together

My Approach

The habits

We’ll begin with how to eat — simple routines rooted in logic and science that support your health and make your meals more meaningful.

The Food

Then we'll stock your kitchen, simplify meal planning, and stay inspired — even on your busiest days. The result? Meals that feel as good as they taste.

The magic

Simple habits create a kind of magic — turning everyday meals into moments that nourish your body, your spirit, and the people you love.

Meet Caterina

Some kids call me “The Dinnertime Lady.” My husband, Pierre, calls me “a sort of food guru.” I still don’t know exactly what my label is — and that feels fitting because as you’ll soon see, I don’t really like labels.

I’m not a nutritionist, a chef, or an etiquette expert — though people sometimes assume I’m all three.

I’m simply someone who believes the way we eat shapes the way we live. That food is never just food — it’s connection. Culture. Family. Pleasure. Love.

That’s what Return to The Table is all about: a more joyful way to cook, eat, and live well.

So just call me Caterina, and join me at the table — I’ve saved you a seat.

“I don't know if I told you, but I accidentally lost about 8 lbs after cutting out most semi-processed foods!"
"I hope I can articulate how much your program has impacted me and my family's life! Prior to meeting you we would throw away so much food weekly, either leftovers we were sick of, or groceries we didn't make in time before going bad. Finding you right as we went into Quarantine was such a blessing. It truly inspired me to cook more and focus on quality ingredients. Strengthening my kitchen intuition has been key, it's how I know to roll leftover into something new or I can see what I bought and come up with creative solutions.

As a family, we always valued sitting down together for dinner but now it's done with so much less stress. I can be done with work and still make easy meals . . . amazing quality meals that are thrown together in a short time and we get to enjoy each other!"
"We have made a lot of progress over here under your care. We are now all eating from the same “pot” which I was surprised how much my kids loved. They were so excited when I put the food in the middle of the table. They asked for it the next day, “Can we do that special fancy dinner thing where we have a feast” It really is such a better ritual—passing the food around and all sharing from the same platter, game changer."
“As an anthropologist of ritual and family, I am deeply impressed with what you are advocating. You are, in 5 steps, hitting all the major points of what works in generational connection across all cultures. Family’s don’t just happen, they are grown and this is the sweet and lasting way to do that. Bravo and I’m IN!”

The boxed version is an easy reach on a weeknight — but have you ever wondered what you're really trading for that convenience? Let's compare what you get in the box to a homemade mac and cheese, made simply with milk, […]
