Serve fresh fruit over gelato.

Simmer fresh fruit in a pan with an optional pinch of sugar or drizzle of honey for about five to eight minutes.

Serve the fruit warm, cold, or at room temperature over creamy gelato.
Notes
You can use ice cream for this dessert, but I prefer gelato. It typically has less sugar and a richer, creamier taste. For me, the difference is clear during a taste test: when I eat gelato, I don’t crave more the way I often do with ice cream, and I don’t feel as thirsty afterward, which is a sign to me that ice cream contains too much sugar.
